Summer Vacation in Quebec City and PEI

1My family and I recently traveled to Quebec City and PEI. I’d never been to either before and was very impressed by the beauty of everything I saw. This is the wall that circles the old town of Quebec City. The narrow streets and structures reminded me of European towns.

The massive building that looks like a castle is actually a hotel, called the Chateau Frontenac. It sits on top of a huge cliff that overlooks the St. Lawrence River. Some of these buildings are some of the oldest in Canada – over 400 years old!

The 3 water photos of the ocean you see were taken on the island of PEI. The soil there really is red! We drove around a lot and saw lots of fields filled with growing potatoes, something PEI is known for. Have you ever been to Quebec City or PEI?
